I'm Jen
I first picked up a camera over 30 years ago—back when it was all film, dark rooms, and the magic of developing your own photos. I fell in love with it so much that I landed a job as a photographer while still in college. But as life does, things shifted. A family was born, and my career in the mortgage world took off. It was an incredible journey, meeting new people every day and helping them achieve their dreams. That connection was always my favorite part of the job.
In 2023, my husband, Michael, and I decided it was time for something new. We sold nearly everything we owned, said goodbye to Lake Martin, Alabama, and made the bold move to Oahu, Hawaii. It was a leap of faith, but one we didn't regret for a second. It allowed me to rediscover my love of photography and meet incredible people like YOU!
Then our hearts led us back to Alabama. Being near family and our friends is more precious than than the beauty of Hawaii.

My approach
I’ve always been a no-frills kind of girl, so I keep things simple... and fun! A photo session should never feel boring or stiff. I love playing games with the kids, getting to know the teens, and building connections with the adults. Together, we'll make sure to capture everything you want—and more!
After the session, you'll get a gallery where you can pick your favorites. I'll add the final touches and deliver your images in an online gallery. It’s really that simple!
